PROGRAMME – UPCOMING GIGS

16.8. LUCA STURNIOLO – Italian singer, musician and composer Luca Sturniolo, who moved to Finland in 2004, performs all over Finland, even as a troubadour. This gentleman sings loud and high and has performed as a troubadour and in many ensembles including Tommi Läntinen’s band. He also competed in The Voice of Finland 2013 where he competed in Michael Monroe’s team and made it all the way to the live shows.

23.8. TERO TIELINEN– man and guitar. Rock compositions and classics of Finnish music.

30.8. SOULMATES – The 5-piece Soulmates from Kouvola play versatile rhythm music with jazz, soul and funk nuances.
The line-up is Tiki Heikkilä – guitar, Pekka Ronimus – piano, Riikka Pelkonen – vocals, Jari Immonen – bass, Jukka Utti – drums.

Midsummer Eve Fri 21.6. 7-10pm – TEEMU HARJUKARI – one-man’s orchestra

Midsummer Day Sat 22.6. 6-8pm – TEA’S HALF ACOUSTIC DUO –
Tea’s Half Acoustic, or THA, is a personal roots music collective from Kouvola. The band is led by singer Tea Salo.
The duo’s repertoire includes not only their own songs, but also selected roots music covers. Repertoire in English.

28.6. JULES JAZZ TRIO – the trio is an acoustic ensemble of musicians from Kouvola, playing beautiful ballads, jazz tunes and the most beloved pop songs with their own arrangements in Finnish and English. Juulia Rihu on vocals and saxophone, Harri Suikkanen on guitar, Harri Ruotjoki – double bass

5.7. DUO NIINA JA SIMO – Finnish pop and the nicest foreign pop tunes!

12.7. ELLA TEPPONEN- Ella is a versatile and experienced performer from Hamina, but rock and soul are particularly close to her heart.
The set consists of songs rich in melody and message, without forgetting the thrills & humour! Ella accompanies herself on piano.

19.7. LAURI YRJÖLÄ – Troubadour Lauri Yrjölä performs a variety of familiar and stylish covers in Finnish and English, not forgetting some rarer gems.
There are always a few of his own songs from his solo album Viimeinen virhe (Last Mistake). On stage, the man and his guitar are accompanied by a loop pedal, which makes the traditional trubadour show sound richer.

26.7. TOM COLDWATER – Finnish-American singer-songwriter Tom Coldwater delivers Americana-inspired folk-rock with an authentic twist.
The evening will feature classic covers from both sides of the Atlantic, as well as selections from Tom’s own work.

2.8. MAIJU LAURILA TRIO– Light summer evening schlager music and evergreens from different decades.

TRIO VIDÀL – Trio Vidál is a Hamina-based acoustic trio combining cello, guitar and vocals that started in 2020, with a repertoire of unique arrangements of pop, rock and r&b classics of our time. From Olavi Uusivirra to Robbie Williams, we’ll hear atmospheric versions. Trio Vidál is : Juuli Leppämäki: vocals, Maria Urpalainen: cello, Totti Pakkanen: guitar, looper, vocals
